Dual sabers is always a cool thing and the enemy dismemberment makes me happy (but I'm just twisted and perverted like that, I guess ). I thought the graphics were absolutely gorgeous.

Let's just hope the gameplay tweaks are enough to allay the fears of some critics. They're keeping the plot cards very close to their chest, but from what their teasing us with, I'd say this looks to be a cracker of a game.

The new doctor voiceovers also mention 'the return of subject 1138', which was what the apprentice was referred to as on the Empirical. If that's true, then this game already has two nods to the X-Wing series, and that alone suggests they've really paid attention to existing canon.Īdd to that what looks like the apprentice using the force from behind a containment field to take part in the space battle, and there's yet more to get excited for. There's a Nebulon-B2 (!) frigate clearly visible, and the Alliance are using (in the abscence of X-Wings) fighters that look from the engines to be R-41 Starchasers. Shows what looks like an extended space combat scene between the early Rebellion and the Empire. What appear to be the last few teaser videos are up on the official site, and one of them is, to me, very exciting.
